Yvon Duranleau

Born in country village of Saint-Malo, in the Eastern Townships southeast of Montreal, Yvon began drawing and painting nature from an early age. Largely self-taught, he is inspired by past masters of the Quebec landscape, Fortin and Suzor-Cote. He travels throughout the province from his home in Coteau-du-Lac painting primarily in oil and concentrating on the villages and landscapes of his native Quebec. He has won numerous awards over the past 30 years and exhibits in galleries throughout Canada and the US.
